The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner
The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th Anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder father, W.O. Bentley and even includes the remains of one of his cars.
The special model can be ordered with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. bentley bentayga key was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. The 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. Its influence can be felt throughout the interior which includes the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet with an opening window that shows a piece of the original crankshaft from the 8 Litre car that is displayed inside.
Other highlights include a chrome-colored application that runs back along the side of the car with an air vent with a photoetched B shape that incorporates W.O. 's signature front grille that's modeled following the 1930s-inspired Onyx color of the limited edition, and an optional chrome application that runs around the lower spoilers, left and right. The front grille has distinctive design, with a chrome shell replacing the body-color mesh of the Mulsanne. It also features the Flying B Logo.
A keybox engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and has a black flock lining, while individual key pouches are available to complement or stand out from the key box. The set includes a bespoke 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and a flying 'B' paperweight, plus an illustrated brochure that includes images that have never before been seen of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
The Bentley Wing Key Box
This accessory is ideal for Bentley enthusiasts and owners. It comes with a distinctive keybox embossed with Bentley wings. This keybox is carefully wrapped in tissue paper within a gift box, it's an ideal gift for Christmas, birthdays, and other special occasions.
The key fob's knurling made of metal replicates the textures that are found throughout the interior including the temperature controls as well as the shift knob. Van Braekel says, "We wanted the knurling to look as consistent and attractive" as is possible. It was important to keep the dimensions and shape of the fob uniform.
Bentley Mulliner customers can specify any color in the Bentley portfolio for their Bacalar as well as any combination of hides, veneers and bespoke embroidery. Bentley's signature diamond diamond quilting is applied to the entire cabin using around 400000 stitches. The mood lighting can also be adjusted to suit different moods.
Standard outside are illuminated treadplates, brushed silver clocks, and new 22in wheels sporting self-leveling Bentley logos. Customers can also choose a bespoke Bentley logo laser-etched onto the rear fixing in homage to the 1930 8 Litre W.O. Edition that inspired the car. The Bentley Wing Key Pouches
Bentley's 'Speed' series is a bit of a hoot taking the Continental GT's already excessive excess and bringing it up to eleven. But it's not only about the extravagant exterior or the extra food items -- there's an improvement in the mechanical aspects like the reworked air suspension and stiffer steering that make the car feel less floppy than you might think of in a car of this size.
As you would expect from a British luxury brand the production of Bentley cars is done at Crewe. The factory is fully integrated - all aspects of design, engineering and production are located at the same place.
